Summertime and the sound of music fills the air! In the early 1980's, a Rotarian had a dream to construct a band shell for live music concerts during the summer. That Rotarian was Willie J. Ferrero! He oversaw the construction of the band shell, attended all the concerts, made the contacts with the bands and involved all the members of the Rotary Club.

Twenty-two years later, the 2007 Concert Series continues with seven concerts dedicated and a $1000 scholarship established by the Rotary Club to the Memory of Willie J. Ferrero who died this year.

We thank him for his dedicated service and his willingness to see a 'dream' come true in giving to others.
